Best Lobster Movie Ever!

lobsterfarm.jpgLast night I had the honor of attending a movie screening at Tribeca Cinemas. A friend of a friend, wrote, directed and brought his family and friends to the screen, in The Lobster farm. I was truly blown away, by both this great story and the movie's star, Danny Aiello. Danny answered questions along with the writer/director Kevin Jordan, a future household name, after the screening. Danny took about $14 dollars a day to work on this film and showed up with legit hollywood friends. He truly seemed like a genuine guy who believes in young directors and of course, new york film making. The movie is based on Kevin's life, growing up in sheephead's bay brooklyn and working at the families Lobster Farm. Across the board there were magical performances, including Jane Curtin, Sam Freed, Daniel Sauli and of course bidder #1. Bidder #1 is a natural! I really hope you all get to see this movie at your local theater soon.

In accordance with your erudite assessment of a certain Northeastern state, I was quite impressed with your review of The Lobster Farm, especially your unbelievably perceptive evaluation of the contribution brought to the film by Bidder #1. Good job!!!

Of course Aiello is a genuine guy.... he is from Jersey! Proof again, NJ doesn't suck.
